This is the MSJ University Overlay owned and operated by XsNIPER50(Jason Stevens) This is the MSJ University Overlay owned and operated by XsNIPER50(Jason Stevens) Node - In order to operate the overlay you will need to install Node, this can be accomplished by going here and clicking the Windows installer and run the file once it is fully installed and follow the prompts.
Stream Package - this is where all the relay and bakkesmod files will be saved to for easy access here. These folders should only need installed once and instructions on what to do with those folders is below.
Ws-Relay - this is a folder within the stream package folder that holds a program that allows you to connect to Rocket League and retrieve the necessary data to operate the overlay Once the Ws-Relay folder is downloaded all you will need to do is unzip the folder by Right-Clicking and selecting 'Extract All...' and completing the prompts, and you're halfway there! After extracting the files you will need to navigate into the folder so that what you see is a folder named 'node_modules' at the top and a file named 'ws-relay.js'. Once in that folder you're good to go as long as you have Node installed!"
BakkesMod - You will need bakkes mod installed in order to operate the overlay. You can install it here Once installed you will need to download the 2 files from the stream package Google Drive within the bakkesmod folder. Those files should be 'SOS.dll' and 'sos.set.' Once obtained and bakken mod is installed you will want to open the bakkes mod app and click 'File' -> 'Open Bakkesmod Folder.' Once in this folder you will navigate to 'plugins' and paste the 'SOS.dll' file here. Once pasted go to the 'settings' folder and paste the 'sos.set' file there. Once there the next setup steps will have to be done in Rocket League so while BakkesMod is open go ahead and open Rocket League. Once opened and on the main screen press the [F2] key to bring up the Menu then click on 'Plugins' from the top menu bar and click on 'Open pluginmanager' from the right side and another screen should come up. On this screen make sure that 'Simple Overlay System' has a check next to it. Once this is done close the bakkes mod settings all together and you will be good to go for bakkes mod!
Ws-Relay Folder - Within the folder we just downloaded and extracted all you will need to do is first click 'runme to npm install.bat' ONLY FOR THE FIRST TIME then after that finishes running you will click the 'runme to start relay.bat' and click the [Enter] Key 3 times
Rocket League - All you will need to do is make sure BakkesMod is running and the lobby is set up!
BakkesMod - All you will need to do is make sure it is opened and running within rocket league, you can do this by pressing the [F2] key and seeing if the Settings menu comes up.
OBS - You will need to have 2 scenes setup just for the overlay, one for the in game overlay and the other for the post game stats overlay. For the in game overlay scene you will need to add a web browser source for the overlay and make the URL: https://https://msj-esports-overlay.vercel.app/overlays . For the post game stats overlay you will need to add a browser source and make the URL: https://https://msj-esports-overlay.vercel.app/post_game_stats .
